It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to a dear friend and special part of our family. Coal had to be put to sleep last night after suddenly falling ill late yesterday afternoon. It was an extremely difficult decision as we didn't want to let go and it all happened so fast, but the we didn't want him to be in pain.
Coal came into our life about 9 years ago and immediately became a member of our family. He touched so many of our friends and family, with his gentle demeanor and playful personality. It was kind of hard not to smile when he greeted you at the door carrying around his Big Red Clifford Dog. It will be tough without him as he was an integral part of our family, but we will cherrish the many wonderful memories thtat he brought us over the years. Goodbye Coal.

Oh - so sorry to hear that! I know that must be really hard for you all.
We will all miss him...such a sweet dog.
